When is the Season?

Registration will begin in November.

Lacrosse is a spring sport with practice starting in early March and games running from late March/early April until June.

Games are played at various locations throughout the Chester County Area (i.e. travel is required)

Practices are held at various fields within the Oxford Area.

What Equipment Is Necessary?

Girls:  girl’s lacrosse stick, goggles, mouthpiece, cleats*

Boys:  boy’s lacrosse stick, helmet, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, mouthpiece, protective cup, cleats*

*Lacrosse, soccer, or football cleats are fine. We will be playing on both turf and grass fields.

Youth/Starter packages are available from a variety of sporting goods stores/online which will contain much of the necessary equipment.  Sites like Marketplace and eBay are also good options.  Please make sure that equipment meets current safety standards.  Reach out if you have any questions.

Who Is Eligible?

Any girl or boy who resides within the boundaries of the Oxford Area School District and is currently in grades K-8.

No experience is necessary.
